Skill Training Programs

Communication Skills

Developing effective communication skills helps these children to express their thoughts, feelings and needs, and to interact with others in a more positive and productive way. Communication skills training can include activities such as speech therapy, sign language, social skills training and more, depending on the specific needs of the child. By improving their communication skills, differently abled children can increase their confidence and independence, and improve their relationships with family members, caregivers, and peers. It can also open up new opportunities for education, employment, and social engagement.

Behavioural Skills

It involves teaching children how to behave appropriately in different situations and settings, and how to manage their emotions and impulses. This type of training can include teaching skills such as self-control, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution. By developing strong behavioral skills, differently abled children can improve their social interactions, build stronger relationships, and increase their independence. It can also help them navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise in school, work, and everyday life.

Personality Development

It helps them build their confidence and self-esteem, develop their social skills, and enhance their overall well-being. This type of training can include activities such as improving communication skills, setting goals, managing stress, developing positive habits, and building a positive self-image. By enhancing their personality development, differently abled children can improve their overall quality of life, increase their chances of success in various settings, and better navigate the challenges that arise in their daily lives.

Daily Living Skills

These skills involve learning how to manage daily routines such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and household chores. With proper training, differently abled children can gain the confidence and independence to carry out these tasks on their own, leading to a more fulfilling and self-sufficient life.

Domestic Management

Domestic and home management skills are essential for differently abled children to learn, as these skills allow them to live independently and take care of their basic needs. Through training in areas such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting, children can gain confidence and build the skills necessary to manage their own home and take care of themselves.

Yoga

Yoga can be a beneficial skill training program for differently abled children as it can improve their physical and mental health.
